Alright, so as you may know, the Born Pretty Store sent me some products to test and review for them. This is the second time that they have requested me to test products to review, and I'm always pleased with my purchases from their store. They basically sent me a link to products that they want reviewed, and let me pick 3-4 items that total up to $12. Born Pretty Store offers a wide variety of nail accessories and tools for inexpensive prices, and they also offer FREE worldwide shipping. It's hard to go wrong with their products, especially for such low prices (Plus free shipping. How can you go wrong with that?! Shipping costs an arm and a leg on most sites when you live in Canada).
You can choose from 4 different kinds of glitter. I chose design 106. Presently, the cost for one pot of the hexagonal glitter is $1.96CAD. There are a couple different ways to apply the glitter. The first involves you applying a clear coat of polish to your nail and then dipping it into the pot of glitter, and then allowing to dry before using a fan brush to brush off the excess glitter. The second is to apply each piece of glitter individually with a nail dotter. The pieces of glitter tend to stick very easily to a nail dotter, which allows easy placement. If you want to learn how to recreate the above design with the glitter that I received, be sure to check out my tutorial.
My only suggestion about the product is to apply it OVER a piece of paper, as the glitter tends to go everywhere! Application over paper allows you to easily funnel the loose pieces of glitter back into their pot when you are finished with the product.
